Beauty and the Beast (2017) Teaser!

Beauty and the Beast Teaser Trailer

Holy crap!!!  So, Disney is on a live action high; they want to adapt their famous animated films into live action.  We already got Cinderella and Jungle Book.  Now Disney in the middle of getting Beauty and the Beast done.  First off, the cast looks beyond fantastic.  Ian McKellen plays Cogsworth (we hear his voice at the end of this trailer), Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast and Luke Evans as Gaston.  While Evans’ filmography isn’t something to write home about (actually you’d probably want to hide it in the attic) he’s still on Game of Thrones and he’s playing a muscle-headed lovable moron so he should be fine.  Anyway, this is quite a dream team for this casting.  I have loved every second of it.

Oh, yeah, there was a trailer.  So anyway, this trailer really keeps it dark and ominous.  I absolutely LOVE the music!  It seems to be perfect for the environment (that marketing team needs a raise, can I help pay for a bonus?).  This was such a perfectly cut trailer for this film.  This is a teaser and it was the best teaser in the club; I wanted to see SO MUCH MORE.  The whole tone, the whole setup and the whole thing just seemed perfect.

What do you think?  Are you ready for this trailer?  Did you like it?

Side note: I can’t wait for the live adaptation of Aladdin (my favorite animated Disney film).  If I needed to make a most anticipated list I would go with Aladdin, Lion King, OLIVER AND COMPANY (horribly underrated), Snow White and Mulan.

Thanks to Jaysen Headley’s blog for directing me to this.

  1. Nice post. I’m really looking forward to this movie. I’ve got to admit that I’m not too excited by the trailer, just because I want to see more haha. You’re right, the cast looks beyond fantastic. Anyway, are you currently sharing your work on any other movie/tv platforms?
